1988 Cadillac Deville
The 1988 Cadillac line featured a new 4.5 liter V-8 for the Seville, for the
Eldorado, for the Fleetwood and also for the de Ville models. Eldorado was a comprehensively
redesigned and its detail changes were most evident in the Allant Brougham, and
Cimarron. Due to new V-8 of the vehicle, the acceleration of Codillac becomes
better than any comparable Cadillac of the last decade.
The Eldorado's sheet metal, was all new. The Fleetwood Sixty Special and the
D'Elegance models had added standard equipment that features the best selling
of all Cadillac's models, like the deVille coupe and the sedan. Seville was given
a new front end look and was available with anti-lock brakes. While Allant offered
analog instrument option and new colors. The car has improved fuel economy. This
car is great example of American engineering, because this is a very comfortable
car.
