1991 Cadillac Deville
The Anti-lock brakes became standard equipment in all Cadillacs in 1991. Formerly
used to power most Cadillac, the 4.5-liter V-8 was replaced by a more powerful
4.9-liter V-8 with port fuel injection. The use of this new engine saw service
in DeVille/Fleetwood, Eldorado, and Seville models. Coupled to the 4.9-liter V-8,
was the 4T60-E electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive. Its rear-wheel drive Brougham sedan's standard 5.0-liter V-8 received
fuel injection.
The fuel injection gave almost 21 percent more horsepower over the previous year's
carbureted unit. The progression in the Computer Command Ride to Fleetwood, Seville,
and Eldorado, had automatically adjusted struts to provide improved damping and
road control as those vehicles' speed increased. The Cadillac Deville 1991, is
considered quality vehicle. It has an excellent ride with a quiet strong solid
well built. Its appearance is a quality luxurious sports car, that makes it very
reliable car. It shines elegantly as innovative.
