1997 Cadillac Deville
1997 Cadillac Deville enjoys rejuvenated styling, where there was innovative
side-impact airbags, and a new fully-functional interior designs made. The changes
of DeVille model, is best seen because of its standard side airbags, and its mild
facelift headline. One of the bases of Cadillac Deville remodeling was the joining
the base DeVille and plusher Concours, because of this, a new mid trim level model
was discovered, this was the so called De Ville d'Elegance. The remodeling comes
with more standard equipment.
The chrome wheels and gold ornamentation, the dual door-mounted airbags join
the two dash-mounted airbags, the antilock brakes, and the traction control which
serves as standard safety features. The vehicle's style alterations also include
a new grille, a rounder rear-wheel openings to accommodate the car's wider rear
track, and a deeper rear outlook.
At a glance, the Cadillac DeVille simply looks like an anachronism, or a survival
car. Yet when anyone look at its vast dimensions, its two-ton curb weight and
the formal roofline, the numb steering, the football field stopping distances,
and the agility of a gimpy water buffalo, one will be impressed by it. Cadillac
DeVille 97 features the detuned 275hp Northstar 4.6litre overhead-cammed engine
which provides plenty of power and has been returning around 23 miles-per-gallon.
